Minotaur’s Maze
A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, Linux, and Android
MINOTAUR'S MAZE
You wake in a labyrinth that changes every time you enter it.
Somewhere in the dark, the Minotaur sleeps beside the only key out. Find him by the sound of his breathing. Turn off your flashlight, crouch, and move slowly. Once the key is in your hands, he wakes, and he hunts you by sound and sight.
Break his line of sight and hide in a barrel, but only if he didn't see you climb in. Lure him across a trapdoor to buy yourself thirty seconds. Crouch beneath the spike traps that tear through the corridors. Find the gate before he finds you.
Linger too long and something else wakes up: a red devil that never sleeps.
Twenty gates stand between you and daylight.
NEW IN 1.1: HUNT OR BE HUNTED
One player becomes the Minotaur. Everyone else survives with a revolver.
- The Minotaur hunts in first person and drops a survivor with a single blow
- He searches for a red crystal only he can see, to summon the red devil from a portal in the floor
- He gathers four torn map pieces to see where every survivor is hiding
- Survivors escape with the key, or shoot him down six times. Three bullets put him down, and every hit slows him
- Best of three rounds. 2 to 5 players online, or play solo with a bot teammate

MULTIPLAYER
One player hosts, and friends join by IP address. It works on the same home network straight away. Playing over the internet needs the host to forward UDP port 24567, or everyone to use a virtual LAN app such as ZeroTier, Proton VPN or Radmin VPN. Everyone must have the same version of the game.
Best played with headphones, in the dark.
